Make your corporate birthday about your customers

Following on from last week's discussion about excitement and delight in marketing content, it's worth noting birthdays are for people. And pets.
If someone in a corner office insists you mark some supposed corporate or brand 'birthday' publicly, at least make it interesting to the audience.
Like how SPAR Ireland gave away β¬1,963 to random customers in April to celebrate its 60th birthday in Ireland. Because nineteen sixty three.
